Donovan Cavers

Donovan began his professional cooking career in the Culinary Arts program at UCC. Donovan’s past tenures include Delilah’s in Vancouver’s west end and This Old Steak and Fish House in Kamloops.

During the winter of 2005 chef Donovan completed two self arranged culinary practicums in Marseille, France working at both L’Epusette and Une Table Au Sud. In 2007 he started Conscientious Catering and has enjoyed treating guests throughout Kamloops and the surrounding area to his ambitious menus, “straight from the farm” style and use of organic ingredients. He is also quite proud to be serving his first term as a Kamloops City Councillor where he brings a “fooder” perspective to the table.

Donovan grew up (in part) sitting on the wheel well of a big ol’ tractor in Chase, BC.
